2010 so far: 6 months in pictures

2010 is more than half over already?

I guess it's a good thing to have been spending more time experiencing the ups and downs of life than I have blogging about them. But hey, this here is a travel photography blog and I have had a few travels this year, and I have taken a few pictures, so here's a glimpse of my 2010 so far....

February: London, England UK * Highlights *

*meeting photographer Frans Lanting, and legendary travel writer Jan Morris:

*incredible Mediterranean meal in the heart of Notting Hill at Portobello Ristorante:

*and of course, a visit to my old 80's stomping grounds in Bushey:

Look familiar? That's right, many a film credit, including Harry Potter scenes.

March: Seattle, WA * Highlights *

* taking probably one of the worst photos ever of one of the greatest photographers ever, Art Wolfe.

I call this "Deconstructing Art by iPhone"

Be sure to check out my Stock Photos of Seattle and Washington State.

April: Boston, MA *Highlights*

ASPP Conference. - I won an indoor composter (!) as a door prize sponsored by Mike Kahn, who maintains an excellent stock library of "Green" images, called Green Stock Media.

*on the set with Danita Delimont at WGBH Studios

*a few images from Boston

April: Loreto, Mexico *Highlight*

At the end of a dirt road out of Loreto, lies my favorite restaurant in Baja, called "La Picazone"

Here's a shot of the fabulous lunch I enjoyed there (photo by Catharine Cooper)

And here's a link to Catherine's Blog, Baja Dreaming.

June/July: Ireland *Highlights*

*looking for leprechauns at Glendalough

* watching woollen weavers at Avoca

* greeting horses at Enniskerry

Many more images to come in the Ireland Stock Images gallery!

  2. This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks?? Hvar Island
